Aquatic Therapy helps in the rehabilitation process, after surgery or with injuries that prevent free movement.
It is a complement to the other areas of rehabilitation. It incorporates aquatic therapeutic exercises to regain flexibility and musculature of the body or to reduce pain related to a pathology.
It has a great social function since it prevents and treats the appearance of secondary dysfunctions or congenital or acquired problems, both acute and chronic. In this way it favours the integration of the person with functional diversity into the community.
